Diana will be attending the ReelHeart International Film Festival in Toronto in June where her winning script, Scavengers, will be stage read.

She is also pleased to announce that Fusion and Devil's Garden have been optioned by CK Filmworks.

Diana is pleased to announce that her competition/festival placings have now reached one-hundred and three and include finalist positions in the Beverly Hills International Film Festival and the London Independent Film Festival. Please see individual listings for further details.

Diana will be attending the 2008 WorldFest in Houston as a double Remi award nominee for her science fiction features Scavengers and Armada Project.

Bus Stop won best short script in the Reel Women Script Competition.

Cabbie, Black Widow and Winston 1 placed as Finalists in the Bare Bones Script2Screen competition. Unfortunately, due a to a schedule conflict, Diana will not be able to attend the film festival but a staged reading of Cabbie will be held on October 6 at the TCC-Metro Campus (Tulsa, OK). Last Stop Pluto
won Fifth Place in the Twin Rivers Media Festival.

Road Kill, Black Widow, Bus-Stop and Desert Dreamer placed as semi-finalists in the Shriekfest Film Festival. Road Kill and Black Widow have since placed as Finalists. Diana will be attending the festival to be held in Los Angeles October 4-7. See the poster by clicking here.

Urchin has placed in British Short Screenplay Competition - Second Round Qualifier.

Diana attended the Action on Film Festival held July 27-29 in Long Beach, CA, where she won Best Dramatic Scene for her short screenplay, Detour.

The Indie Gathering in Cleveland proved to be a successful and very enjoyable venue for Diana after winning ten awards for her short screenplays, Blood Money, Detour, Desert Dreamer, Arcade, Bus Stop, Cabbie, Winston 1, Voyeur, Bottle Blonde and Black Widow. A special thank you to Ray, who made the event truly memorable.

Diana's latest win includes Voyeur as short screenplay finalist in the SoCal Independent Film Festival, to be held in Huntington Beach, CA, September 5-9.  

Diana also placed Cabbie, Detour, Bus Stop and Arcade as finalists and semi-finalists in the Cycle Gimme Credit Short Screenplay Competition, her second win in this competition.

Diana attended the San Fernando Valley International Film Festival as an award nominee for her short screenplay, Urchin. Held at the Beverly Garland Hotel in North Hollywood, the nominee reception took place on March 16 and the Gala Awards Dinner was held on March 25.

Diana attended the Bare Bones International Film Festival held April 23-29. In addition to a successful staged reading at the Roxy Theater on April 29, her script, Cut out the Middleman,  was the award winner for the best short screenplay category.

Diana is pleased to present her podcast of her dark science fiction tale, Swan Song. Aired Tuesday, May 1, Swan Song deals with an amoral future society ravaged by a sentient plague that relies on immune trackers to destroy its carriers.

Diana's latest success includes several screenplays chosen as Official Selection for the Twin Rivers Media Festival. Several scripts accepted into the 2007 Action on Film Festival in Long Beach, a short sci-fi story selected as a semi-finalist in the Moondance Film Festival and eight winning scripts in various categories at The Indie Gathering.

ReelHeart in Toronto was a resounding success. The actors did a great job with the reading and Diana got excellent feedback from the judging agent.


In July she will be attending the Action on Film writer's award dinner where her two features, Scavengers and Armada Project, are award nominees.
