Medical Technologist in a Mayo hospital lab by day.  Singer / songwriter / recording artist, and Indie film actor / writer / producer / director, on his own time.  Past winner of five Boneheads (major category First Place awards) at the Bare Bones Film Festivals -- three for screenplays and two for films.  Has also won awards at the Nevada Film Office contest, and at the International Digital Cinema Convention in Kansas City.

The accomplishments of the past few years are the more outstanding, as Doug only started screenwriting and film acting in 2000, at age 50.

He has a new Short "The Interview" premiering at the Bare Bones Fest on Friday, April 27, and a new Feature "Luckyay" premiering Saturdaynight, April 28.
