PRETTY SCARY
1 - 2

The feature script Mistresses of Horror , penned by screenwriters L. C. Cruell, Linda S. Scott, and Diana Kemp,  is perhaps the very first of its kind -- an all female-written horror anthology. The purpose of Mistresses of Horror is not only to find and work with the right production company to create a successful, profitable feature film that will establish a new horror franchise and the three Mistresses of Horror as preeminent voices in the genre, but also to further establish and spread the power and exposure of women in horror in general. The script deals with six chilling and gruseome tales with a wraparound a la the original Tales From The Crypt film:

Seven unsuspecting tourists and curious wanderers learn the price of passion when a seemingly innocuous tour guide offers them a glimpse of the real New Orleans.  They end up at the doors of La Maison des Plaisirs a mysterious brothel that exists solely for those destined to find it. There, they meet The Mistress, descendant of the most powerful voodoo queen ever known, and watcher and gatekeeper over this hedonistic domain where she tempts them to taste the pleasures her seductive world provides. Yet, they will soon learn that for some there is but one way in. and no way out. MistressesofHorror.com
